Saskatchewan Actuaries' Club Meeting 2012

After a hiatus of several years, the Saskatchewan actuarial community met at the University Club for dinner on Tuesday September 25, 2012.  Gust of honour was Simon Curtis, President of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries as part of his cross Canada tour of actuarial communities.

There were over 50 registered for the dinner, including current U of R students alumni and faculty as well as members from the Cooperators, SGI, Greystone and GMS.  Simon gave a short presentation which looked at recent CIA activities and initiatives (copies of the slides are available to the right). The University Accreditation was a hot topic of discussion.  Photos from the reception and dinner are shown below.

It was a great event.  Thanks to John Dark and Larry Miller for handling the arrangements and the University Club for a great dinner and meeting space.
